Nt of the background characters have pparently fallen of the face of the Earth in Full Circle We hear very little bout them nd instead focus on brand new background characters like Patrice Robin nd Celia All of these new people in the second to last book but why Hunter nd Morgan re s they lways re just there At this point in the series I can honestly say I don t care bout the fate of either one of them They mean nothing to me I have formed no Here by the Bloods attachments to them emotionally because I was never really forced to like themt ll Things I LikedThere is bit of chosen one talk in the book but Morgan doesn t seem to be the only one People like her show up every couple of centuries pparently That doesn t mean I like that spect of it but I m glad that Morgan isn t the only person like this to exist Things I Didn t LikeOn the other hand I still can t stand chosen one characters unless the uthor figures out way to spin the trope on its head Morgan is supposedly this person who s supposed to bring change to the Woodbane clan even though they re not really clan ny nd haven t been for the past couple of hundred years There s lot of discussion Bound (Torn Trilogy, about how Morgan is just so powerfulnd special but I m not seeing it It s been stated that Morgan has lot of raw power but she isn t ll that powerful because she lack s training nd knowledge I m just not buying it We ve never been explicitly shown exactly what makes Morgan so special except for the fact that she is powerhouse DiversityWe get brief visit from Morgan s Aunt Eileen nd her Jewish girlfriend Paula Sky Loyalty and Lies and Raven seem like they could get back together but I doubt it That sbout it There was only the barest mention of Alisa the only confirmed non white character with name in Full CircleOverall Full Circle feels like nother setup book The real Fortunes Flames action will take place in the next book Issume Anything that ctually happened was very predictable ndor was used to wrap up ny loose threadsplot points from the earlier books You could probably skip this book nd not miss much seeing s how Morgan has penchant for recapping what happened previously The best thing bout this book is that it means I m lmost done with this series Here is link to my notes The Sweep series was given to me by my 2nd cousin in law Weird I know She said that I would really enjoy this series because it was similar to Twilight which t the time I was going through my Twilight phase Now bout three or four years later I m still trying to finish the series Claiming Her and s I mlmost to the end of the series With one book left I m not sure I m emotionally ready to finish this series I love it so much I love Hunter nd Morgan I love their relationship nd I love what they do individually s witches I need to go prepare for this last book It was better than the previous two books in the series but it wasn t the best I never read this one before this is exciting I ll finally be ble to read the last book Actual rating 25This one wasn t the worst in the series but I can t say that I enjoyed it I m glad the next one is the last s they re seriously dragging now. Nspeakable evil known to witches Now the danger they face is just s deadly But to vanuish their new foe they must first defeat the weaknesses within themselve.

You know series is mazing when it s been 18 years since you first read it yet nothing has changed Loved it just s much the second time roundForever Murder Go Round andlways one of my favorites dude where s the sex Read in 2004Read in 2015Read in 2017I m How Foreign Policy Decisions Are Made In The Third World: A Comparative Analysis actually going to upgrade my old rating from 3 to Alcohol Fuels: Policies, Production, And Potential a 4 But it s of 34 36 really or 6510 I m being generous mind you because this book wasn t terrific per se The reason being is that the book does wrap up nicely nd hold true to its title full circle This isn t the most exciting book It isn t the most shocking despite what should be some shocking events they just didn t really do the job of exciting me like other books did It isn t the best by Cambridge Modern History volumes 1-5 a long shot Itctually feel kind of like The Heart Of The Hawk (Book 1) a winding down of the series Perhaps that s intentional It s worth reading It s interesting Just not greatSPOILERSNot whole lot happens in this one honestly Spices, Saints, and Saracens: The Egyptian Wanderings of a Dominican Friar, 1483 and I think that s why I originally rated it 35Basically Morgan has bad dreams It turns out it s Selene s spirit trying to comefter her in hawk body These dreams happen several times nd despite the help of Bethany Empire of the Waves: Voyage of the Moon Child a very hollowlydded character by the way who doesn t really get developed or talked The Object of Performance: The American Avant-Garde since 1970 about much she s just there Alyce Hunter etc The dreams keep happeningWe have little subplot with Robin Of Mice and Men and Celia who susect their coven leader Patrice Pearson of dark magick They don t want the international council of witches involved Hunternd his dad work on the case Daniel creates spell to limit persons magic to not be ble to ffect nything living because Patrice WAS taking people s energy during circles nd giving it to her sick boy JoshuaThis book has very basic plot Bad dreams Seline wants to kill Morgan They battle in the ir when Morgan transforms to Hawk Morgan wins Crushes the life out of SelenePatrice has her magick restricted but not strippedHunter goes back home Morgan goes to Scottland to study witchcraftThat s pretty much it Very basic story Not I Was Anastasia a lot to it No where near the level of complexity of some of the other books And it endslmost on Choice of the Cat a down note with Morgannd Hunter going their separate ways Three Cups of Deceit after making love one time in the woods during the beltane partyOverall the book was fine I give it generous 45 because it does wrap things up Things came full circle with the Selene plot Really I wish you could rate books out of 10 because I can t give this Sparrow Road a 3 But I don t feel like it deserves 4 It s like A Banner With a Strange Device: A Novel of Boston a 6510 It s not great But it gives us story wrapped upOF COURSE we have Night s Child to read fter this which takes place in the future But that s nother review nd nother reading This is technically the final book in the official Wicca Sweep series Winners Take All: The Elite Charade of Changing the World as fars I can tell And I thought it was The Point of It All: A Lifetime of Great Loves and Endeavors a really good ending The book returns to dual narrative from the perspectives of both Morgan Yoga: The Art of Adjusting and Hunternd I was happy to be back in their heads particularly t this late stage in the seriesThere was uite lot of The Neural Basis of Free Will action in this book lot of which I wasn t expecting I liked the lternating between the slightly less serious storyline of n errant witch using dark magick nd the stor. Hunter Morgan nd Alisa All three re witches nd each is in turmoil Hunter feels stifled by the small town world of Widow's Vale Morgan is terrified of the po.

Yline of Morgan Locked and Loaded (U.S. Marshals, and her tormenting nightmares Ilso really enjoyed Past Destinies all the mentions of the celebrations the covens were hosting for Beltanend the descriptions definitely gave me Travels: Collected Writings, 1950-1993 a warm fuzzy feeling insideOne book to go now the sort of standalone end to the series Night s Child This book is set 20 years or so later I believe so it should be interesting to see how it compares to this book This book was good It had few surprises up its sleeve I liked that the story line was back to the verage MorganHunter theme It dealt with growing discontentment with the council which I think will continue in the last installment While I really like this series nd I m still very interested to see how everything will turn out in the various story lines I feel like Morgan nd Hunter have not really developed s couple They started out with lot of character growth but for the past 3 or 4 books they have kind of been stuck in the same place I hope this changes in the next book Another thing I noticed is that number of new characters have been introduced in the last few books nd in this book they took center stage over some of the original characters like Robbie nd BreeI liked reading bout Hunter s dad but I kind of miss Robbie Overall this book fit in very well with the series There were some great new developments in the picture of Wicca that Cate Tiernan paints so well I really enjoy reading nd learning bout Wicca through these books Rainbow Brite: Starlite Saves the Day and this one was no disappointment in thatrea I A Social History of Modern Art, Volume 2: Art in an Age of Bonapartism, 1800-1815 am sad that I only have one book left in the seriesnd I m reluctant to start reading it because I dont want it to be over PlotThere re bout two things going on in Full Circle neither of which seem ll that important For the first plot point someone from Morgan s past is back to take revenge on her or something It s very drawn out with nice chunk of text focused on the dreams that Morgan is having The second plot point has no real relevance that I can see It s basically Hunter dealing with potential dark witch even though he is no longer The Unspeakable Mind a seuel Both of these thingsre probably establishing something for the next nd final book Night s Child So this is nother setup book even though the Sweep series has Time and Philosophy: A History of Continental Thought already seen enough of them This isnother book that you might be Murder at Beechwood able to just skipWritingThe POV switches between Hunternd Morgan because Hunter has his own little thing going on Like I ve said in previous reviews there isn t big difference in Morgan nd Hunter s voices even though they re two totally different people There s such n obvious lack of showing in this series this book especially that it s not funny There is no reason to fall victim to the show don t tell problem when the book is in first person We re constantly told how Hunter nd Morgan feel bout things but they never give Ask an Astronaut: My Guide to Life in Space any physical indication Morgan gets scared but her skin never gets clammy her pulse doesn t race her mouth doesn t get dry etc All hunter does is clench his teeth innger but we never hear Revelations from Revelation (Mass Market) about his heart beating faster or the feeling of his teeth grinding together This is problemCharactersAbout eighty perce. Ssibility of life without him And Alisa is still coping with the knowledge that she is witch by blood Together the three worked together to defeat the most
