H: Year Ending January 31, 1937 (Classic Reprint) of paragraphs and then barely mentioned The treasure hunt was a very good ideaLola the grandmother from The Alphabet Sisters and now starf Lola s Secret makes an appearance as a fairy godmother doing good in another short story It was nice to see familiar characters from McInerney s novels return and a plus for those who have read her Gardening with Shape, Line and Texture: A Plant Design Sourcebook other worksThis would be a good point for those at the midway pointr the end f McInerney s work A lot f the stories in this book have appeared elsewhere so it would be advisable to have a uick skim before you purchase It s ideal for a uick readhttpsamstillreadingwordpresscom I have never been a fan Livin' de Life of short stories but I read this book because a I enjoy Monica McInerney as an author and b I bought the book unaware it was short stories It was a very uick and easy read somef the stories were The Amazing Dreams of Andrew Latter only a few pages long and than half the book was a novella that Ive read before I continue to not be a fanf short stories I enjoyed this collection Culture is the Body: The Theatre Writings of Tadashi Suzuki of short stories though I like mostf Monica McInerney s books Some Cognitive Science: An Introduction to the Study of Mind of these short stories didn t capture my interest as much asthers Odd One Out was definitely my favorite though I The Legend of Joaquin Murrieta own that story as a stand alone book and have read it multiple times.
