I picked p a copy of this book a year or so ago at a going out of business sale at a local discount store I can t resist an inexpensive book about foodcooking I hadn t read anything else by the author before but it caught my eye both for the food theme and because a blurb on the cover compared the author to David Sedaris who I love Kitchen Virgin had some amusing bits but I didn t find myself laughing nearly as much as I do with Sedaris books so I was a little said that that comparison fight Breaking the Governesss Rules uite matchp Much like Sedaris s books this book was comprised of essays The essays all centered on cooking and eatingtalking about folks who most likely won t be winning any cooking competitions And hey there were recipes for cooking roadkill in this book As a self proclaimed.
