The story idn t feel rushed and the pacing was perfect It was a wonderful story for Christmas and it put a smile on my face Though It idn t give me the magical feeling I was hoping for I liked it all the same Definitely recommend it for the holidays Very nice book My granddaughter loved it I received it free for a honest review The illustrations are beautiful and the book is just wonde I love Christmas and Christmas stories This gem is an instant classicI was engaged by the artwork and the poetic style of the writing This is a book that I will read to my grandchildren I will sit them in my lap and show them the pictures as I read I think that if I start them early enough I can create in them the magic that my parents gave to me as I sat and listened raptly to them There are too few books that capture that feeling fewer still that eal with the enduring story of Kris Kringle I recommend it to parents and grandparents who wish to inhabit the fondest memories of their kids The Book of Kringle Legend of the North Pole was a very uniue story about how Father Christmas came to be The overall idea and story of this children s book is fantastic The illustrations really captured me in as well and I can only imagine how the book would appeal to children Unfortunately my kindle messed up this book and completely switched all the words and pictures around so I had to flip through and try to connect the right pieces together myself After looking at the preview for this book on Goodreads I know it must just be some sort of formatting issue because the preview is gorgeous and well put together I really wish I could have read this book through in one piece but that On His Majestys Service does not take away the story There were some parts of the book thatid not make a lot of sense to me or seemed a bit far fetched but that could also just be Different Class due to the fact I was having to piece it all together and I may not haveone so properly This was a very great original Christmas book though and I could efinitely see myself reading this to my nephews someday.
