Rose Gordon: The Officer and the Traveler Fort Gibson Officers #3

Ngaged Engaged to known adies man Grayson Montgomery The same man that broke her heart years ago when she was just a young girl with a crush If that wasn t enough Gray is being accused of raping an Native American chief s daughter and the best way to ensure Gray gets a fair trial is for him to marry Michaela bc of her high powered fathera retired General There is a serious hatelove relationship between Gray and General Davis and The Dragon in the Clock Box lots of mistrust on Gray s part for both Michaela and her father Gray believes he has been set up and opposes the idea of marrying 35 starsIiked this book maybe the most of the Fort Gibson Officers series I will admit that I did know where the story was heading pretty uickly and who the villain was However that did not deter me from the story I iked Gray as soon as I read about him in the first book and by the second book I knew how he would find his bride All in all I found the book to be an enjoyable read This one is by far my favourite in Gordon s Western series Michaela and Grayson were fantastic characters I just wish I hadn t read the book in one sittingMichaela and Grayson have known each other since they were teenagers Michaela had a crush on Grayson although he never returned the feelings When Michaela and her father whom Grayson holds a grudge against travel to make sure her sister Ella is being treated right by her new husband they have uite the reacuaintance Caught in a compromising situations Michaela and Grayson are forced the marry Neither are pleased with the situation and each have their own issues for why the marriage can t work out Both of them will need to willing to talk to the other if they ever have their chance for their happily ever after This one was another winner from Gordon and I oved going back to Fort Worth Out of the books I think that Michaela and Grayson had the most mature relationship and I The Nazi Revolution liked the fact that it was built on something that started when they were teens I could have used detail about how Grayson got his misplaced reputation as a womanizer and I would haveiked to see him and Michaela have that discussionIf you ve read other works by Gordon this one will be sure to measure up Readers are treated once again to a Bloods a Rover (American Underworld Trilogy lovely sweet romance This style really appeals to me and I alwaysooks forward to the authors new releases And it ooks ike the new series will be just as good I m hoping for some awkward heroes since I Wylde Bears (Wylde Bears, loved the Groom series so much The Officer and the Traveler by Rose GordonThe Fort Gibson Officer Series Book 3Captain Grayson Montgomery is single and happy about it His two best friends recently married and that s fine It s the Armyife for him And then everything changes when a piece of his past appears to change everythingMichaela Davis has traveled with her dad to check on her sister Her sister had wanted to get married and ended up as a mail order bride Michaela is uite happy being single Seems her father the stern general has other ideas His scheming to marry her off gets a boost when he catches her in an awkward situation with a manWhat a great series The men in these books are soldiers Cooking Light Lazy Gourmet livingife in a fort that isn t easily accessible and in a dangerous area Not the best place for women but these guys step up to protect the gals who fall into their Arise lives There s danger and some difficult situations woven into these stories along with a few good games of rounders and of courseromanceSexual content within marriagehttpjustjudysjumblesblogspotco. Ad enough who she thought was just a charming stranger is none other than the heartless cad who broke her young heart as a girl Circumstances might dictate that they marry but they're both about toearn that circumstances don't always bring about a happily ever after only they can control tha.

The 2nd book in the Fort Gibson Series ends with an unexpected kiss between Grayson and Michaela that peeked my interest Their story continues as this accidental couple have a hard rode ahead of them with uite a few twist and turns The womanizing Grayson isn t really theladies man we are Archies Americana, Vol. 1 led to believe from the previous books As Grayson begins to trust Michaela he opens up about his past and soon the reader realizes what a caring and morale man he really is The book also shows the dark side of others as not everyone is who they present to be This book has a complex plot than Books 1 2 and includes serious subject manners I really enjoyed the great Epilogue as this series ends HE OFFICER AND THE TRAVELER by Rose Gordon is a historical romance set in Fort Gibson America The third and final in the Fort Gibson Officesr series but can be read as a stand alone See The Officer and the Bostoner and The Officer and the Southerner Another hit for this author Ioved this story I think this was my favorite by far of the Fort Gibson Officers series Fast paced and adventure filled Follow Grayson Montgomery and Michaela Davis on their journey to happiness and The Book Thief love Can Michaela forgive Grayson for breaking her young hearts years prior The heart wants what the heart wants even if circumstances don t always bring a happily ever after only Michaela and Grayson can do that Michaela came to be at Fort Gibson because of her sister in a the prior story you see her sister was a mail order bride Michaela and Grayson was caught in a compromising situation they where caught kissingCan two flawed characters come together to findove and happinessMs Gordon sure knows how to draw a reader into her stories with her engaging charming characters and her intriguing storyline A fast paced story of Military Talk to Me life in Fort Gibsontheir struggles their uest for survival andove A not to miss story and if you haven t read the others in this seriesI would recommend reading them also I enjoyed this series and Silver Mortal (The Gracen Chronicles, look forward to Ms Gordon next grand adventure A must read for any readers who enjoy America West militaryife in the Frontier history and romance Received for an honest review from the authorRATING 45HEAT RATING MILDREVIEWED BY AprilR Courtesy of My Book Addiction and More Sometimes two people are just fated to be together As a young girl Michaela Davis was convinced she was in Educating for the New World Order love with Grayson Montgomery who didn t seem to reciprocate the feeling Now an adult she has resisted her father s efforts to get her to marry and has traveled with him to Fort Gibson on the edge of the frontier following her sister who traveled there on her own to becom Okay whoa waitwhat the hell When Soaring Eagle approaches Fort Gibson about rape allegations in regards to his daughter Soft DoveGray responds that she s pregnant Okay I get what the author was going for Soft Dove using rape as a cover for aover and pregnancy However not sure if this is common knowledge or not buuuutpregnant women can be raped too Yeah I know unbelievable yeah Really thoughwhat kind of dumbass and idiotic Living in Little Rock with Miss Little Rock logic is that Why in the hell should her rape claim be disregarded even if she is pregnantIiked the interactions between Michaela and Gray I adored Michaela because at first I thought it was going to be secrets being drawn out the reason for their marriage and The Character Of An Upright Man like the previous book it was going to beack of communication Mr. Malcolms List leading to miscommunication So I am so glad that Michaela confronted him and spoke her mi. Grayson Montgomery has justet his mouth get him into trouble again uite GURPS Conspiracy X literally Being promptly informed that he must either marry the youngady he was caught with in a scandalous embrace or face a possible seven years of hard abor Gray makes the obvious choice to marry her It'll just be.

Nd throughout the book she asked for clarification and uestioned him rather than eaving things and allowing both of them to act foolish Gray was being stupid in how he treated her throughout the book and he is so undeserving of herI might have given it a higher rating but there were some editing issues and inconsistencies that bothered me Oh and I just didn t care for the General Rigid subplot and would have preferred the writing be spent on developing a stronger relationship between Michaela and Gray I felt The Tyranny of Guilt like aot of his fun personality was sacrificed in this book to give him a tragic backstory and make him vulnerableAlso how old is Grayson In the previous book it s mentioned that Jack is twenty five He specifically tells Ella that both Wes and Gray are two years older than him That puts Gray at being twenty seven in this book It s also mentioned that Michaela is twenty four BUT it s mentioned over and over again that Michael and Gray have only a one year difference between them That makes no sense Technically it should be threeOther than that there were uite a few spelling and grammar issues I m not sure if the author has an editor or not but if she doesn t then she needs someone to Phantom Encounters look over her work If she does she needs someone better There were uite a few sentence fragments I caught and some semi colon misuse There were some repeated errors from the previous book with the possessive and proper names Michaela Davis being use instead of Michaela Davis s and the usage of meddle instead of mettle Oh and I only happened to catch this one near the end they re instead of their JerkGray was such a jerk to Michaela He should haveeft her alone from the beginning if he had no intention to have a marriage based on Eat Your Way Through the USA love I m also than confused if he was with the prostitutes or was he a virgin The story had intrigue to it than the previous two books This is the final book in this wonderful series by Rose Gordon and it does not disappoint Gray is an officer very handsome and is thought of as a womanizer but does not know how to really talk to or understand women He is caught kissing Michaela by her father and is forced to ask for Michaela s hand in marriage He does not talk about his past until he shares it with Micheala Gray does notike Michaela s father because of their past historyMichaela is at Fort Gibson to see her sister Ella The Officer and the Southerner with their father She has known Gray for a My Dirty Janitor Book 4 long time and has always been attracted to him She does not want to marry unless it is forove and she knows Gray does not Stories from Spain / Historias de España love her Her father retired General Davis manipulates them into marriage I enjoyed the tension between Gray and Michaela throughout the book The trouble that Grayands in forces both of them to examine what they are Spanish-American Short Stories / Cuentos hispanoamericanos looking for in their relationship Iiked the mystery and the subplots the twists and turns The interplay between Michaela and her father added another Broken Bear layer to the story Like all of Ms Gordon s books the characters are endearing and I find myself thinking they would be great family members The Epilogue pulled the series together with the happiness of all three couples following course As always Iook forward to reading from Ms Gordon Michaela Davis accompanied her father to Fort Gibson to ensure her younger sister Ella was being treated right by her new husband Jack Next thing Michaela knows she spots a man crawling out of a window the man spots her they exchange words the man kisses her and then she s A marriage of circumstance with no chance of either getting hurt Michaela Davis is in a state of shock First she was kissed nearly senseless by a sweet talking stranger only to have the bliss end with the uncomfortable realization that they'd been seen And by her father no ess If that's not
