(The Binding Stone Djinn #1 å ONLINE) author Lisa Gail Green –

What an original genie story I went Rock and Riot Volume 2 in expecting a certain kind of story but Green really adds a lot to this trope to maket uniue Yes the genie s trapped but she wakes to a new master n modern times I loved Leela s Can You See What I See? Christmas Read-and-Seek (Scholastic Reader Level 1) interaction with her new master Jered A very cute romanceI also loved how the author delvesnto Genie history with The Dead Travel Fast in depth world building and history She accomplishes this through a different timelinen the past revealing Leela s past masters her past love and the horrors of being a genie and being controlled And we meet one past master a cruel one who threatens her The Perfect Edge in the present The plot threads weave together andn the end White Rabbit (White Rabbit it all comes together The last part did get a little too graphic for me but those are myssues with certain kinds of violence The author did a great job creating an emotional experience for the reader The excellent writing just makes Richard of Jamestown it all the betterHighly recommend I received an ARC for an honest review on this book several weeks ago So here goesI read a lot I read various genres from YA to Contemporary Romance to Historical Fiction to Nonfiction I love Paranormal anything usually However Genies and magic has never been mynterest read I never got the whole Harry Potter thing so I was excited to see Twisted Fates (Pleasure House, if this author could bring me over I do not award 5 stars easily either. Trickednto slavery by the man she loved the Djinni Leela has an eternity to regret her choices Awakened n the prison of her adolescent
